"Sustainable Growth in the Present with a View to the Future"

Manuel Carlos de Mello Champalimaud

«The socio-economic framework in which Portugal finds itself at the moment, mainly due to being part of the European Union, represents enormous challenges for the country in defending its natural space, but also growth opportunities abroad.

Conscious of the need to invest to generate wealth for future generations, in 2004 the Founder and President created Gestmin SGPS, SA, for this purpose.

The combination of the interests of shareholders with those of the employees is in the genesis of creation of Gestmin SGPS.

Hence the motto: "Sustainable Growth in the Present, with a view to the Future"».

In 2019 the year that celebrates its 15th anniversary, Gestmin SGPS is renamed after its founder, Manuel Champalimaud SGPS. Thus reinforcing the commitment to the mission and values that define it as a Portuguese family group of reference with a new corporate identity: Grupo Manuel Champalimaud.
