The Code of Conduct of the Manuel Champalimaud Group (Manuel Champalimaud SGPS, S.A. and any of the companies in which Manuel Champalimaud SGPS, S.A. holds a stake of more than fifty per cent of the respective capital) is also a reference for the outside world, concerning the standards of conduct applied by the Group in its dealings with third parties, to encourage the creation of a climate of trust with all the entities that have dealings with it.

Code of Conduct
In the Manuel Champalimaud Group, the Regulatory Compliance Program for Transparency and Prevention of Corruption is made up of a Compliance Program, supported by:
- A reinforced governance model, which includes the appointment of an Executive Director (CCO) with responsibility for Compliance.
- The appointment of a Compliance Officer, responsible for the regulatory compliance.
- In the Code of Conduct.
- A Plan for the Prevention of Risks of Corruption and Related Offenses (PPR), which includes:
- the identification, analysis and classification of risks and situations that may expose the Group to acts of corruption and related offences; and
- the preventive and corrective measures to be implemented to reduce the probability of occurrence and the impact of the risks and situations identified.
- A set of other policies that fall under the General Regime for the Prevention of Corruption.
- Internal policies and procedures across the entire Group.
- A continuous improvement and training/awareness program covering the entire Group and all its stakeholders.
Manuel Champalimaud Group also seeks to ensure an adequate control environment, a robust risk management system and a continuous monitoring process.

Communications may be anonymous or may identify the whistleblower.
Whistleblowing regulations establish the internal rules and procedures applicable to receiving, registering and processing reports made through this mechanism.
